well with a new site, that means i'll not be updating this one anymore, so if by some wild and wacky chance you have this in your favorites folder, better put http://www.beautified.net/craterface in there now! and even if you don't, add this site to your favorites list, make life a little easier... :] so go to the new [well...same, i guess] crater face site here! i guess this means i'll have to get weezer.com to update their links page...
08.19.02 alright. i was supposed to update a couple days ago... but it's taken me a while. well heres some info that i got from tim biskup [duck butter records/space twins artwork] about any space twins album release information that he might have:
"Cool site. I have not seen Brian for about a year. He's been pretty busy, as you can imagine. We were on the verge of releasing the "Rust Colored Sun" album when Weezer went into the studio to make the green album. I have a rough mix CD that sounds great to me. Brian will probably scrap the whole thing & start over, knowing him.

08.03.02 ok, here's the dilly-o: i've added a page where i'll be rotating mp3's each week, this week i've got 'space twins theme' and 'on the other side' up, so start downloading here! since my dumb server doesn't allow music files, i'm having to use my sister's ftp account to host the songs, so thanks again jen... also, if anyone is willing to host my site, please email me, freeservers just isn't being my friend right now...argh.
08.03.02 so, on thursday i went to the houston weezer show, and i'll just say this: oh no, it go, it gone, bye bye bye... well it was fun while it lasted, and oh did it last! my sis and i caught the SG and they were awesome! i got to talk to atom and murphy a bit, and got their sigs and atoms broken stick! those guys rock. oh, yeah weezer was cool too. pat talked a bunch throughout the set, and they played 'holiday', 'only in dreams', and 'december', which was cool. and of course, brian was kick ass, though i don't think he felt too well, or maybe he just wasn't into it much. he wasn't moving around much, singing to all the words, or striking as many rock poses..but than again i could be over-exagerating. [though there was a post on the weezer.com mboard about this.]
i did try to take a camera and md recorder in, but ended up not being able to. but after the show i got some cool pics to remind me of the night, i might put em up some other time.

07.29.02 i've added a frequently asked questions section to the site. i get a lot of emails asking questions about the ST, so hopefully, it should answer questions for some people. it also has answers to some carnival art questions. so go here or up at the top of the page with all the other links.

07.28.02 this is a call to all those who are instrument savvy. i'm hoping to be adding a tabs section to the site, and anyone who has tabs for any space twins song, or can tab them, could you PLEASE email me. i will fully credit you and thank you a bunch of times. i'm not musically inclined [though i'm very impatiently learning guitar] and would very much appreciate those who are to help me out. thanks. oh, and go to that msn place dammit, we need people over there... just talk about your cat or your mom's fetish with toasters. hell, go to the extreme and talk about the space twins!! :b

07.20.02 just a quick run-down here: obviously geocities sucks, and apparently the page i put up for space twins songs has been working on and off due to some bandwidth or file transfer problem. so i just wanted to let you guys know that. unfortunately, i can't do much about that, so you'll have to just bear with me here. if you want to hear some st songs, you can go to the geocities page here or the links page and take a trip to one of the other cool space twins pages.
oh, and 'a brief history' is still the only mp3 at the geocities page [if it still works] and i'll let you guys know if i put up another one.

07.15.02 its 4:20 in the morning. just letting you in on the time. :] well, i've added the lyrics to 'here comes the sun' on the lyrics page. i finally transcribed it a couple nights ago.
and that menu box is annoying the shit out of me. damn. i can't get the links to not pop-up. i'll just have to find a different code somewhere and change the box. sorry for the inconvenient pop-ups, i know it must be annoying for you too. i'll fix it all soon.... anyone up for signing my guestbook?? you can if you wanna. :o]07.12.02 ok, this site is still screwed up after hours and hours of fixing it. it is now 3:36 in the morning, and i am dead tired. i've stayed up much later before, but for some reason, tonight i just can't seem to stay awake. ahh, and my wrist hurts. there are definitely bugs that need to be worked out and i'll just have to do it this weekend.
on a side note, i saw weezers video for 'keep fishin' finally, and it is kick ass! great work guys, it's really funny and cool to see them acting. at first i thought, "eh, muppets? alriiight.." but now i think it's really good! ok i think i've said enough about that.. oh and happy birthday scott! =] [a couple hours late, and on the wrong website, but who cares..] check ya'll later! ...goodnight..

07.09.02 hey, nothing really new, but my links page has some stuff added. Tim Biskup has been added [thanks again richard!] as well as a couple others. Tim has some great artwork that I wish I had the money to buy...
also, i've closed the "Space Twins Cover" poll, and here are the results:

that's basically what brian is up to right now. perhaps he's working on a space twins song... let's hope so. well at least we do know that he's recording with weezer for album #5 and preparing for their upcoming 'enlightenment tour'.
on a side note, right now i'm listening to sonic youth 'a thousand leaves', and it just occurred to me that thurston moore sounds like brian. wow, it's really scary. even the lyrics kinda sound like something he would write...
06.21.02 hey, brian is working on 'louder than lies' with weezer! this is strange, i really like the space twins version. i don't know if weezer can do it justice, though i know brian would do great. i just think it might be best left as the space twins, ya know? but hey, it could be really good too! so all together: "yellow camaro", "nice to meet you", "birthday booty", and now "louder than lies" is brian's addition to weezer. i think it's really great that brian and pat are finally getting to write their own songs.
on another weezer related note: karl's corner on weezer.com has said:
"hey! we're working on revamping our links page. if you have a weezer-related web page, or a page about one of the guys and/or their respective bands (example: brian's " the spacetwins", or pat's "the special goodness"), let us know about it so we can link it."
so of course i sent this page in, hopefully i'll be added. that would kick ass! i mean, there aren't too many ST sites out there, so i have a chance. [cross your fingers]
and just think, then maybe brian could see this page and realise how many people want to hear new space twins material! and then maybe he'll let me interview him, and he'll start to tour the country... and i'm really shooting for the outter limits, huh? yeah well, one can wish, right?
anyways, i've added brian's bio page up [yes, finally] to the biographies section and will add tim's tomorrow. then, i'll aim for glenn and mike next week. but for right now, go read brian's bio here. of course brian will have more info than the others, because there is just more out there about him, but hopefully i'll be able to get a lot of info for tim, glenn, and mike.

06.21.02 check out the carnival art section to find the lyrics to "welcome to vas llegas". i just copied them straight out of the liner notes so they are correct. i definitely recommend that album to everyone, it kicks ass! i'll add the lyrics to "thrumdrone" soon. (don't i say that about everything?)
i found on audio galaxy, a long time ago, something interesting. i'm sure some of you might know about it, i always seem to be delayed. i got a song supposedly by the space twins called "you broke my heart", and at the beginning i thought it was really them. then as the song went on, i realised that it wasn't. damn. it was a good song though and the singer did sound a lot like brian, except when he started to scream. well, it still could be...maybe i should email karl to confirm this. yeah, i guess i will..

i thought that since it was summer, i would be able to update more often, but summer just means that i'm gone more often...ah, it sux. over the next few days i'll add the carnival art lyrics up and maybe a quick bio on the ST guys. i'm really hoping that they make a friggin album soon, and maybe they should title it "head full of bees"! yeah, that would be great...
